Slewing bearings
Large-diameter bearings for slow rotation, moment and, often, a gear.
Availability on inquiry
Slewing bearings carry radial, axial and moment load together. Cranes, davits and some deck cranes use them as the rotating joint. The bolt circle, the gear module and the seal are part of the part, not accessories to guess later.
Schaeffler publishes slewing bearings. Other makers do as well, and crane builders often specify their own drawing number. This page does not invent a series or a moment rating. Availability is an inquiry, not a catalogue promise.
What to include
- Drawing number, or raceway diameter, bolt pattern and gear data.
- Moment, axial load and the duty cycle.
- Gear on the inner or outer ring, and the seal condition.
