Thrust roller bearings
Spherical roller thrust and cylindrical roller thrust bearings for predominantly axial load.
Availability on inquiry
These are rolling bearings. Spherical roller thrust bearings also accept misalignment. Cylindrical roller thrust bearings need closer alignment. Both are used on vertical shafts, turntables and some crane duties.
They are not a white-metal propeller thrust pad and not a tilting-pad hydrodynamic bearing. If the drawing says white metal, Babbitt or tilting pad, use those words in the inquiry. FEX will not relabel that part as a rolling bearing.
What to include
- Rolling thrust bearing or hydrodynamic / white-metal part.
- Bore, outside diameter, height and designation.
- Vertical or horizontal shaft, speed and lubrication method.
