Tapered roller bearings
Combined radial and axial load. Mounting is adjusted, so the end-play belongs in the inquiry.
Availability on inquiry
Tapered roller bearings are common in gearboxes, wheel hubs and drum supports. Single-row bearings are usually paired. Matched pairs and separate cups and cones are not interchangeable without the adjustment the maker specifies.
Schaeffler publishes tapered roller bearings. So do other manufacturers. Send the designation or the cup and cone marks. Do not expect this page to convert a housing photo into a part number.
What to include
- Designation of cup and cone, or the matched-pair mark.
- Required axial clearance or preload, if the OEM states it.
- Lubricant and whether the duty includes shock from a crane or winch.
